After months of slowly releasing acoustic versions of his most popular singles from "The Wave" album, R3HAB has finally dropped the full "The Wave Acoustic Pt. 2" EP. " Featuring six tracks turned beautiful acoustic songs, the EP is the yin to his usual sound's yang. The majority of the EP's material lends itself well to paired down versions, with wistful and love-driven lyrics like in "Back to You," "How've You Been," and "We Do." Even "Whiplash," R3HAB's original with Krewella, seems born for acoustics. This collection showcases the softer and more organic side of R3HAB, an artist who never stops evolving and exploring different sounds. R3HAB has started off the first quarter of 2020 with new tracks like "More Than OK" with Clara Mae and Frank Walker or remix for Steve Aoki & Maluma's "Maldad," so we can't wait to see what the rest of the year holds.
